Experienced Research Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Microsoft Word Accessibility, Administration, Market Research, Management, and Report Writing. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Applied Cognitive Science from University of Toronto - Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Dr. Roberts’ primary research area is generating a culture of inclusion through outreach co-creation activities as well as implementation of inclusive technology and digital sharing platforms. As a researcher at the IDRC (formerly ATRC/UofT), Dr. Roberts has participated in numerous inclusion projects including Barrier-free Access to Broadband Education, Canadian Network for Inclusive Cultural Exchange, CulturAll, Stretch, The Inclusive Learning Exchange and Cloud4All. Recent projects include We Count, Morphic (also called the Auto-Personalization Computing Project), Discovery, BIG IDeA, Our Doors are Open, CanHack150, aha! and Outside-IN. Recent reports she has authored or co-authored include: Taking Ontario Mobile, Preferences for Global Access, Releasing Constraints: Projecting the Economic Impacts of Increased Accessibility in Ontario, and Volunteering and People with Disabilities. As Consulting & Projects Manager, Dr. Roberts coordinates, develops and provides consulting, custom research and training on inclusion and diversity to the public and private sector. Dr. Roberts is also an instructor in graduate level research methods and has taught Inclusive Research Methods in the Inclusive Design program and Innovation Research Methods in the Strategic Foresight and Innovation program at OCAD University.
