About Vera Ross

I am a Health and Wellness Coach with 10+ years of experience in running a successful personal training and health coaching business. I have coached over 200 clients through personalized fitness and health programs. Working with clients in the health and fitness industry made me aware of the larger burden of chronic diseases on our society as a whole, and inspired me to pursue a graduate degree in a meaningful field. I created my health coaching business in order to help others create happier, healthier lives through nutrition and physical activity. A former collegiate runner, I am on a mission to share my passion for health and fitness with those who are looking to make lasting and meaningful lifestyle changes. With a holistic approach to coaching, I lead clients through group and/or one-on-one coaching sessions and provide guidance on daily routines, meals, clean eating, and all the elements of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. My degree in Psychology and Masters of Public Health Promotion enable me to work with clients towards creating lasting behavior change in the areas of health and well-being. My goal is to ensure that each client walks away with a solid foundation and results that they know how to maintain on their own. I focus on educating clients and patients on the "how" of creating and maintaining healthy habits, using each individual’s "why" as a key driver of their process. Health and weight loss/maintenance strategies are not one-size-fits all, and putting my skills to work creating personalized action plans for clients in order to get them feeling better is nothing short of a dream job for me.
