About Veronica Callegari

I am a 20 years old Italian student, I live and work in the province of Padua and I study at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in the third year of the degree course in “Hospitality, Innovation and e-Tourism”. I am always open to new, different experiences outside my comfort zone: I do not fear the new chellenges but rather I consider it an excellent opportunity to study and specialize in new fields so as to increase my skills and improve my ability to act in different situations. Although I care a lot about my personal performance, in most cases I prefer to work in a team of competent, proactive and collaborative people. I find that harmonious cooperation with other colleagues is also a great stimulus to individual performance because it promotes more effective communication, minimizing the likelihood of making mistakes, improves interpersonal relationships and creates a pleasant working environment. In addition to the work and school environment, much of my personality was formed thanks to my career as an athlete: I learned, in fact, to be tenacious, persistent, constant and focused on my goals without ever giving up, although the task I have to complete is more difficult and does not coincide with expectations. I always tend, therefore, to test myself, constantly searching for new and demanding tasks that favor my personal growth and that reconcile in a harmonious way my character’s most meditative and inquiring part and the most rational and pragmatic one.
