About Veronica Choe

Hello! I am a passionate educator who is committed to leading empathy, equity, and efficiency. I’ve taught over 20 different courses in grades 6-12 in math, science, and engineering during my career. I’ve had the opportunity to guest speak at my alma mater, University of Michigan, as well as co-create and facilitate webinars during the remote learning era of 2020-2021 through the National Education Association. I also love to coach volleyball and have experience coaching from the 6th grade level all the way to high school varsity. I am particularly interested in doing work that uplifts marginalized groups and exposes new experiences to underrepresented student groups. I am firm believer in student-led learning and organizing and will forever be a student advocate first. I live my life with integrity and always try my best to lead by example and storytelling. My favorite thing about myself is my ability to connect with others in a way that shines light on their truest self and highest potential. I teach in a manner that ensures my students leave my classroom feeling cared for and confident in themselves for who they are in any given moment.
