Dr. Veronica Muzquiz Edwards is the chief executive officer (CEO) of InGenesis, a leading healthcare services firm specializing in workforce solutions and comprehensive health (i.e: medical management and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief). She actively collaborates with influential leaders and organizations to drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery. As the president of the Healthcare Standards Institute (HSI), an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) and certification body, Dr. Edwards spearheads domestic initiatives to improve patient outcomes. She also chairs the HSI Foundation executive board, focusing on enhancing quality of life through education, awareness, and the adoption of domestic standards in healthcare administration. In addition, Dr. Edwards serves as the chair of the E&M Health Foundation, where she supports initiatives for medically underserved and under-resourced communities. Her work helps these communities plan, prepare, respond, survive, and recover from natural disasters, crises, and public health emergencies. Dr. Edwards is also a member of the board of directors for the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank San Antonio, Central and South branch. She holds a BA in communications from Texas State University, where she was honored as a distinguished alumna. She earned both an MBA and a doctorate in business administration from the University of the Incarnate Word, where she was also recognized as a distinguished alumna. Dr. Edwards has received numerous professional awards and recognition, including being named one of 12 healthcare executives on the Forbes 50 Over 50 list.
