About Veronica Gonimiah

I’m a visual and performing artist, creative director, and branding consultant whose work lives at the intersection of artistry, advocacy, and intentional storytelling. I help artists, arts organizations, and mission-driven creatives communicate who they are — visually and holistically. Whether I’m developing a brand identity, crafting campaign visuals, directing content, or consulting on presence and voice, my work is rooted in authenticity and care. As Co-Founder of Aurway Repertory Theatre, I’m committed to uplifting historically excluded voices and creating space for transformative art and conversation. I also serve as Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer at Vanguard Theater Company, where I shape how socially impactful theater connects with its audience, both visually and emotionally. Rooted in Newark, New Jersey and grounded in my Liberian-American heritage, I bring both local commitment and cultural depth to every collaboration. My background as a performer and visual artist informs how I move through the worlds of design, media, and storytelling. I don’t just think about how things look — I care how they feel, how they land, and how they last. My creative practice includes: Brand & visual identity Marketing & communications consulting Photography & video (creative direction + execution) Interview-based storytelling and journalism Set painting, production design, and performance I work with organizations, collectives, and individuals who are doing meaningful work and want their presence — online and off — to reflect that fully. From the visuals to the voice, I help refine the story they’re telling and ensure it aligns with the impact they’re making.
