About Veronica Mayne

I am an experienced and creative entrepreneur, having launched insights consultancy, Faster Horses in 2014, and taking it to sale in 2021. Across this time I worked intensively in business strategy development, setting up and finetuning HR systems, IT systems and partnerships, marketing, brand & product development strategies and ensuring sound financial protocols and practices. My role grew from managing a team of 2, to 20 across Faster Horses' 7 years. The business was acquired by global insights agency, YouGov Plc. At Faster Horses, I was a hands on Managing Director, applying commitment and passion to both my own business, and my clients' businesses alike, focusing on delivering commercial advice and solutions to business challenges. I also place importance on nurturing and developing staff, empowering them to move into the next stages of their careers. My insights work includes specialisation in brand and communications, corporate reputation, customer engagement and new product/service evaluation; and I place emphasis on new, innovative research solutions that give clients fast results, cost effectively. My experience spans multiple continents - from South Africa to Australia, and across many countries in the Asia Pacific region.
