About Veronica Mirabal

I currently work as a baker at Whole Foods Market and have been with this company for a little over three years. During the pandemic I had to really sit down and think about what my interests were and what I wanted to do with my life. I absolutely love baking but I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue it as a career path. After much thought I came to the realization that as much as I love baking it was not the career for me. I decided to go back to school to do what I know I was meant to do, and that is to help families and loved ones go through the process of losing someone they never thought they would. Deciding to go back to school for funeral services came as a surprise to a lot of my family but my friends knew deep down that this was the path that made the most sense for me. I have only been in the program for a few semesters so far and I can, without a doubt say that I absolutely love it and I have not looked back. I am excited to see where this schooling and career change will take me, so far it has taken me out of south Florida and onto the west side of Florida. I hope I can make a positive impact in these peoples lives during an extremely hard time with the lost of a loved one.And I will still be making cookies, just at home this time.
