About Veronica Orege

I am currently the Programme Director(Africa) at Common Purpose, responsible for business development, curriculum development, programme delivery, financial management and stakeholder management. Previously, I was the DStv Thanks head of country management & sales, a role that entails the operational implementation of the benefit partner and marketing strategy across 8 countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Angola, Uganda, Tanzania and Namibia) for the MultiChoice Africa customer loyalty program. I spent 8 years in research and programme management during which period I rolled out and managed all programme and operational aspects of DStv-i, a large scale, cutting age, audience measurement research programme. The programme spread over 6 countries (South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, Zambia and Tanzania) and provided critical customer intelligence to the entire company. Prior to that, I gained valuable experience working in the Project Management Office team in a consulting environment while earlier on in my career I worked on various research projects as a research consultant.
