About Veronica Pegoraro

I am a young multi-degree researcher specializing in Healthcare and Governance. Currently, I am a research fellow at the Governance & Social Innovation Center of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, focusing on exploring the potential offered by virtual hospital models and telemedicine to optimize care delivery. As an advisor to the Health and Social Care Area of the Veneto Region, I have actively participated in various research projects and case studies. Over the years, my work has centered on leveraging e-health tools to improve health care and strategic planning, considering the possibility of implementing the balanced scorecard tool within regional planning. In this regard, I have contributed to several publications in scientific journals on such crucial topics as virtual care, e-health, telemedicine, and digitization. Moreover, I have also been actively involved in reengineering the drug procurement process. This has entailed utilizing the SPDCA cycle, and various qualitative survey techniques, to streamline the process. As my future motivation, I aspire to continue to lead and foster innovation in this rapidly evolving field, contributing to improving healthcare access and quality through research and application of cutting-edge solutions.
