About Veronica Renuart

I am a highly motivated, young professional in central Florida. I have a BA in communications from Eckerd College. I have spent the last several years working for marine parks in various roles. These roles include tour guide, instructor, training intern, animal ambassador, and narrator. I have worked with animals including bottlenose dolphins, penguins, freshwater and saltwater fish species, invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians. This work includes basic animal care, husbandry, training and enrichment programs. I have led tours or classes for school groups, camps, corporate VIPs, and park guests. I have spoken in front of groups ranging from a single family to several hundred guests. I have represented parks at community events, business conferences and schools. I have experience designing coursework and educational frameworks. I mentor new staff and seasonal interns. I am a passionate employee who believes in what I do. I have strong oral and written skills as well as an understanding of most basic computer programming. I am open to positions that can utilize my skills and education in the communication, education and animal care fields.
