About Veronica Vaughn

Self starter and extremely motivated Disaster Recovery Specialist with a demonstrated history of working on federally declared disasters. Extensive experience in case management, intake and eligibility and specialize in QAQC. I have worked on several projects and assignments with prolific State clients such as the Texas General Land Office (TXGLO) and Texas Department of Emergency Management. Knowledge expert on CDBG processes and procedures and determined eligibility for applicants on four different programs for Hurricane Ike CDBG in Galveston County. Also worked on the Public Assistance side, assisting local municipalities communicate their request for federal reimbursement funds through written requests to FEMA. Worked on the FEMA temporary housing program as a recertification and case management specialist and applicant file closeout auditor. Currently working on the City of Houston/Harris County Harvey TXGLO project emphasizing on Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) of applicant files. Extremely people oriented and enjoy challenges and training others.
