As an Assistant Buyer at Neiman Marcus Group, I oversee daily operations in a multi-brand department across all 36 stores and online. I manage OTB and all purchase orders, track weekly receipts, forecast monthly sales projections, and improve gross margin and sell-thru with various strategies and incentives. I collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance the client experience by creating and communicating special orders, product knowledge, lookbooks, and brand-specific marketing events and activations. I have a dual degree in Fashion Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Business/Managerial Economics from UC Irvine. I graduated with honors and received multiple Dean's Honor List awards. I have also completed certifications in Google Analytics and Excel and am well-versed in Salesforce. I am a goal-oriented, detail-oriented, organized, and highly adaptable quick learner who can easily navigate a fast-paced work environment. I am passionate about fashion and learning new things, and I want to gain more knowledge and experience to become a fashion buyer.
