I'm a problem solver with a growing passion for purchasing and procurement. I derive great satisfaction from analysing large data sets to uncover valuable insights, which I can share with my teams to enhance and improve current working systems. I really enjoy the challenges and subtleties of purchasing with the understanding that we live in a changing world, where the only constant is change itself. Drawing from past experience and knowledge, I leverage my insights to build innovative systems that merge time-tested knowledge with forward-looking approaches. My background in utilizing master data mass updating tools, processing accounts payable invoices and managing technical purchase proposals has honed my commitment to achieving excellence in every detail. I also recognize that, at times, a quick and dirty solution is the most effective way to advance a project or solution. In many of the positions I've held in the past, I've developed tools everyone in my teams can use to improve their workflow. For example, a time-saving tool I developed in Excel in just 45 minutes allowed each purchaser in the team so save up to 30 minutes a day. Furthermore, during quiet hours, I meticulously developed another tool, investing over 9 months to reach a level of perfection that significantly enhanced the efficiency and precision of every sales team. My relentless pursuit of excellence drives me to design efficient systems. My recent IT training has further emphasized the importance of automation through scripts and functions to achieve the perfect balance of speed and precision. This is an ongoing educational journey that I wholeheartedly intend to pursue throughout my career. I know there is always much more to learn, but I am ready. Let the challenges come.
