About Vesa Toivonen

My career is in threefold: The first 6-7 years at Field Sales and B2C gave the best in class in-sight into retail business and account management at the territory level. Second section of my career taught me a lot of category and Key Account management, trade marketing as well as international durable consumer goods industry. Third, the active part, included various senior positions at Sales, Marketing and Commercial management, where all roles included business leadership and people manager roles, strategy development and the execution in adjacent of sales and commercial management. Creating inspiring and incentivizing commercial strategy and leading the execution from the front, motivates me. I've led the execution of a numerous successful plans resulting significant sales and profit growth at various industries, like Sport and Outdoor, Consumer Electronics as well as Mass Merchandising. I'm true believer into Omni-Channel strategy, where brands are putting Consumer's into pole postion and build their strategies to Win with Consumers. Working in multi-national organization with team-mates coming from different cultures have taught me to utilize the power of difference and turn it into seamless and committed team-work.
