About Vese Pela

From selling hand-folded origami to classmates as a child to moving across the world on my own, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for creating. Growing up, I moved between Nigeria, Dublin, London, Paris, and now Los Angeles, giving me a unique blend of experiences and a global outlook that influences everything I do. My time in London fueled my love for fashion, while my passion for skincare grew as I saw firsthand how self-expression connects people across cultures. Today, I’m captivated by how technology, like virtual and augmented reality, can shape industries like fashion and skincare. Even though I haven't had the chance to work directly with those tools yet, I’m constantly thinking about how to bring these innovations into my work - crafting personalized experiences that allow people to connect with brands and each other in deeper, more meaningful ways. As someone who has spent time in various countries, community is a cornerstone of everything I do. I’m drawn to spaces that celebrate diversity and inclusion because they remind me that even though I’m here on my own, there’s always a community to be built. I thrive in collaborative environments, and I love leading presentations where I can bring my ideas to life. Although my accent might shift depending on who I’m speaking to, I’ve learned to embrace this as part of my story - a reminder of the places I’ve lived and the cultures I’ve been a part of.
