About Vicente Abarca

Hello, my name is Vicente Abarca, I am 29 years old and I am a metallurgical civil engineer from the University of Santiago. I have advanced English proficiency and a solid training in the different mineral processing and refining processes, reflected in knowledge about the areas of processing, mineral concentration, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, electrometallurgy, incorporating technological development and innovation within these areas. I stand out for being an honest person with a high capacity for learning, this complemented by great interest in transmitting that learning, along with an inclination to innovation and generation of ideas, which I enhance through the strengths of the team that I surround myself with, stimulating cooperation, this is reflected in my last 2 work experiences within the university, being an assistant for 2 years, managing to lead a group of people, to be able to learn and transmit this learning to students, then as a project researcher, where I used my abilities to empower the team through their strengths, along with flexibility and adaptability to adapt to the changes that occur within the project. Within my work objectives, is to be part of a diverse team, which has different opinions to be able to learn and be a contribution within it, since a diverse team can lead to new projects and improvements, I would like to be part of the changes that are happening in the mining industry, among which are a more sustainable, inclusive, diverse and innovative mining.
