I am an energetic and caring person. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 30 yrs. There have been many changes within this area and I have enjoyed learning and growing as well as the children. Working with ESL children has given me a different perspective of the trials and stresses for parents and children being Newcomers to Canada. I have enjoyed learning about all of the different cultures we have had and look forward to continue learning more in the Childcare field. I really enjoyed the challenge of beginning a Home Based Childcare Course. Working along with 2 of my Co-workers, we facilitated a group of 14 adults in the rules and regulations of opening a daycare in their home. Focusing on child development, health and safety, child oriented activities just to name a few.
