I have worked in a retail environment for about 30+ years. I have worked at AAFES, Best Buy, Office Max, Babies R Us and Toys R Us. At AAFES I was a cashier and I also worked in their cash cage.Later I did some food prep and cooking and serving in their food court. Then at Best Buy I was on the sales floor and cashiered. At Office Max I was a cashier and worked in the copy area. Working with different machine to help my guests. Within Babies and Toys R Us I have had many different positions. I started out as a cashier then transferred to Customer Service, after that I worked in Marketing the business. I also have been a supervisor of their furniture department, was the front end department supervisor. I ran their human resource department. I was also a Store Supervisor that opened and closed the store. when Toys R Us brought American Girl in I was the Manager of the store in a store. I worked on and off in Harrison School District 2 for about 20+ years. I started out as a part-time crossing guard and recess and lunch monitor. I quickly was brought on as a workroom employee. I was laminating, printing and helping with whatever teacher needed. since then I have had many roles: SSN Para, AN Para, Mild/MOD Para, emergency sub, Reading Interventionist and helped anywhere I was needed. I am now a Business Office Coordinator. Working on Accounts Payable, patient admission packets, receptionist, and many other parts of the job.
