About Vicki Rumpler

I am a dedicated nurse practitioner with 22+ years of experience in Colorectal surgery. I work with very complex post-operative patients requiring TPN, fluids, ostomies and/or wound care. I have extensive experience with surgical inflammatory bowel patients, including J-pouch and K-pouch patients. I follow surgical patients and non-operative management patients with anal, colon, and rectal cancers following the NCCN guidelines. I have experience with anorectal problems, such as: hemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal abscess, anal fistula, anal condyloma/warts, anal tags, pruritis ani and fecal incontinence. I am trained in several special procedures and work closely with my surgeon colleagues. Preceding my time in colorectal, I was employed in the heart failure ICU department. One thing that remains constant for me is, the very best part of my job is building relationships with the patients and their families. I enjoy working out, cooking, traveling, walking my dog and spending time trying to help not only my patients and surgeon colleagues, but my family and friends.
