Background
About Vicki Sotack
Vicki has a Bachelor of Science in design and is a creative entrepreneur advocating for the professional development of individuals with autism. After having served as a defense contractor for several years, she made a career change in honor of her son with autism and founded The Hope Chest Keepsake Jewelry, an award-winning manufacturer and e-tailer with one of the most unique awareness jewelry lines on the web. The company demonstrated its commitment to the autism community by building its entire business network and supply chain with companies who, in turn, also became autism community supporters. In 2012, Vicki founded The Autism Community Alliance (ACA) to further develop an official network of companies across industries to work alongside The Hope Chest and gainfully employ individuals with autism, like her own intelligent and affected son. Prior to becoming an active participant in the autism community, Vicki spent the majority of her career as a senior operations, logistics, and data security contractor supporting such government agencies as Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Tri-Service Infrastructure Management Program Office (TIMPO), and Clinical Information Technologies Program Office (CITPO).
