About Vicki Thayer

I’ve managed events across a wide range of industries, from construction and engineering to running my own event planning business. That has taught me how to build events that not only run smoothly but actually resonate with the people attending them. In recent years, I’ve focused on B2B tech, leading event marketing efforts that support pipeline goals, brand visibility, and customer engagement. From large industry conferences to executive roundtables and customer events, I focus on aligning every event with business goals — whether that’s generating leads, growing brand awareness, or deepening customer relationships. I enjoy turning complex ideas into clear, compelling event moments that support pipeline goals, build community, and strengthen brand presence. I’m hands-on with everything from strategy and messaging to logistics and vendor management, and I thrive working cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams. What keeps me excited about event marketing is its constant evolution. I’m always exploring new formats, tools, and ways to make every interaction more meaningful. Let’s connect if you’re looking to swap ideas or talk events.
