Storyteller by trade & by nature. A multi platform presenter, reporter, broadcast journalist, producer, and documentary maker. I have over seven years of experience working for the BBC as a reporter, journalist and producer for local, regional, national and international audiences, for both radio and TV. I am the weekend senior journalist reporter for Newsbeat at BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and Asian Network, overseeing weekend bulletins across all three stations. During the week I am a freelance broadcaster, journalist and documentary maker for other outlets across the BBC. I have experience in presenting long form audio such as documentaries and podcasts, scripting and broadcasting live two ways, reporting on radio packages for local, regional and network audiences like BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live, reading news bulletins to time, presenting live and pre-recorded radio programmes, writing accurate copy for cues, scripts, articles and social media posts, and filming, scripting and reporting for TV for BBC News. I have experience with producing investigative documentaries, insightful speech based programmes, programmes with ex offenders for offenders, global archive and global news programmes, live radio programmes in a chat and music format style and business news radio programmes, all for the likes of BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service and BBC Radio 2. I spent three years working for the award winning podcast and documentary department for the BBC, Long Form Audio, producing and presenting programmes for the BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4. Prior to the BBC, I was a commercial podcast host, TV reporter, traffic broadcaster and commercial radio presenter and producer. I produced and hosted the inspirational podcast,"Let's Go Kickass Today", I've written for BBC News, The Independent, Metro, World Travel Market and Refinery29, and I am a workshop facilitator for media and the creative arts.
