About Vicky Crockett

An experienced and highly qualified Mathematician, Leader, and Trainer in Data Science and AI. Vicky has over 15 years’ experience working in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, AI and Governance. She has experience with multiple programming languages, paradigms, data systems and software platforms. She authors and develops training programmes and projects for staff who are in new roles or for experienced professional technical staff who are seeking updates. Her experiences have included working in the FE, HE, and Private training sectors and in partnerships with a significant number of external organisations. This has included creating bespoke materials for national and multi-national organisations and using sector relevant data sets to produce exemplar project solutions and materials to assess staff capabilities and support with upskilling. Vicky currently leads the Data Analytics technical training team at QA Ltd including Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Governance. She is a key contributor to client meetings with a significant role supporting sales and bids, as well as providing horizon-scanning, research, and strategic planning for the development of new projects using emerging technologies.
