About Vicky Egerton

As a lover of the theatre it's no surprise I'm more than willing to put myself out there. I have worked across many industries, starting in food service, into retail and care, and then into financial services. In each industry, each role, confidence is key. How can I be terrified at supporting a customer when I've performed on stage to hundreds? It's safe to say that throughout time in retail and financial crime, I have seen many people at their worst. However, this has never deterred me from building skills to do the right thing by both customer and business. My time in retail gave me a strong foundation in time management, communication and working within budgets. My time in financial crime has built my investigation skills, compliance and regulatory knowledge as well as a penchant for stakeholder management. I have grown throughout my career to become first port of call to many of my colleagues on a multitude of queries, coaching requests and policy efficiency concerns. I thrive in high pressure and always strive to improve any compliance or process errors shown in teams or departments I work in. Financial crime is just too interesting to breeze through without the overall knowledge after all.
