About Vicky Rizothanassis

Vicky Rizothanassis, ND, has a great passion for Naturopathic Medicine and has integrated natural health practices in her own life from a very young age. Vicky completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology before embarking on her post-graduate studies where she went on to receive her degree as a Naturopathic Doctor from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2008. CCNM is one of six schools accredited in North America by the CNME. Vicky's naturopathic practice combines eastern healing arts with scientific evidence-based medicine for an individualized and effective approach to health and healing. Some modalities she uses are clinical nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture (in Ontario), acupressure, botanical medicine, and lifestyle counseling. She has taken specialized courses in sports medicine, intra-muscular stimulation, weight management, fertility, cranial-sacral therapy, environmental medicine and electro-dermal EAV screening. She has also received clinical training in mind-body medicine at the Benson-Henry Institute at Harvard University. Her focus is on establishing optimal health and she feels very strongly about the opportunity to educate patients, and the general public, about health and wellness while empowering them to take control of their own health. She greatly believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and is very passionate about supporting that ability within every one of her patients. Vicky is a proud member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Quebec Association of Naturopathic Medicine (QANM), and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
