About Vicky Sheldon Roe

I am a Registered Nurse currently working as a Clinical Auditor, Compliance. Having worked in critical care for many years, I established Georgia Medical Billing and Consulting, Inc in 1994 up until it was sold in 2010. GMB was a full service medical billing, revenue cycle management, and consulting corporation. My medical background as a RN gave me a natural insight to not only what goes on at the clinical level of fee for service, but also on revenue cycle in multiple disciplines of medicine. I have an extensive working understanding of the present industry and governmental regulations as I continue current employment in this field. I apply my clinical knowledge every day as I audit medical records documentation with a systemic review of care against explicit criteria, contract requirement.s and best practice. Performing risk assessments using data abstraction to determine trends a variances and areas of risk. It is a rewarding and challenging area of healthcare that allows me to utilize my skills to promote quality patient care.
