About Victor Anandkumar

As a B-School faculty, I have hands-on experience in teaching MBA students, supervising doctoral research, planning and facilitating management/executive training programs and consulting for corporates.* As a teacher, I regularly teach modules such as Strategic Management, Internet marketing, Brand management, Global marketing, B2B marketing, Business communication and Selling and Negotiation Skills. As a teacher, I view myself as a 'connector' connecting my students with different sources of learning and opportunities to learn in order to get them ready and raring-to-go for the corporate world.* As a Doctoral research supervisor, I have guided about 10 PhDs till date on topics such as Tourism Marketing, E-Tourism, Brand Management, Services Marketing and Inclusive Marketing.* As a trainer and consultant, I have conducted training programs for firms/institutions such as Mauritius Telecom, Hotel School of Mauritius, Daibeck (Korea), Anglo-French textiles, National Institute of Social Defence, Directorate of School education - Government of Pondicherry, Human Resource Development Centre - Pondicherry University and through organizations such as Mauritius Institute of Training and Development and for executives from Air Mauritius, One & Only Le Saint Geran, Young Bros, MauriTours, Life Insurance Corporation, Hotel Mass and Pondicherry Tourism Development Corporation. Would like to be remembered as a trainer with a lot of heart and soul, apart from minimizing the theory-practice gap and staying relevant and contemporary to the industry.
