About Victor E. Ayegba

With over 20 years of work experience as a Quantity Surveyor in both public and private sectors of the Construction Industry, I have been involved largely in building and infrastructural projects at pre/post contract. This has enabled me to work with the following Forms of contract used in the construction industry such as Qatar Gen. Condt’n of Contract (GCoC), FIDIC, JCT Form of Building Contract, and ICE Conditions of Contract. Owing to the diversity of the projects in my portfolio this has steered my area of expertise in construction mgt as a Chartered QS in the construction industry. I am an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible person and also a valuable team member while equally effective when working on my own initiative. With several years of professional work experience spanning Africa - Nigeria, Seychelles and Middle East – Qatar, I have worked with so many construction companies including one of the major construction companies in Nigeria – ITB Nig. Ltd, the number one construction company in Seychelles and a member of Chamber of Commerce, Seychelles – Laxmabhai & Co.(Sey)(Pty)(Ltd) where I played a leading role in the delivery of Four Seasons Hotel, and Kempinski Hotel, Seychelles. I am currently working with Consulting Engineering Group (CEG) Doha, Qatar as a Senior Quantity Surveyor where I have also played a leading role as a Senior QS in the delivery of major projects in Qatar which includes but not limited to Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies as secondment to Louis Berger under ASTAD (Qatar Petroleum Project) and Sheraton Renovation Project (Design & Build). I managed Four Hospitals and Infrastructure projects under ASHGHAL (Public Works Authority) and some complex projects in Qatar. I am currently working with KEO International Consultants on Roads and Infrastructure project, Doha, QatarI am the current Vice President of Quantity Surveyors International (QSi UK and currently pursuing my LLM/MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration with Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK
