About Victor Marques

I consider myself a "problem solver," and nothing brings me more joy than improving people's lives through technology. I enjoy exploring new possibilities and believe that teamwork is essential for success. I am recognized for my leadership and proactivity. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at the Federal Fluminense University, with graduation expected in the second semester of 2026, and I work as a Business Development Representative at Altair. Since 2021, I have been a volunteer with holding positions that allow me to positively impact various spheres, from my university to global initiatives. In 2024, I was recognized as an exemplary volunteer in Latin America and received the "Larry K. Wilson" award, the highest recognition a student can achieve. Additionally, I have experience in other academic projects, such as a Pibid scholarship in the course "Economics Applied to Engineering," serving as a Project Advisor at the junior enterprise Tesla Jr, and volunteering at the Friends Lab. I was a finalist in the pitch competition at the Entrepreneurship workshop, held in partnership with the UN, and I presented at the G-STIC sustainability conference. I was also awarded the "University Talent" prize by CAPES, ranking among the top 7% of scores in the contest. Outside the university, I founded the Associação de Defesa da Privacidade Digital, an award-winning NGO that worked to raise awareness among the Brazilian population about digital privacy.
