About Victor May

As an Incoming Oxford Saïd Business School MFE student, I look forward to the year ahead and the opportunities that I will have afterwards. I embrace the challenge that the MFE represents as I am certain that it will provide me with the skills that I need in my professional career. The broad, multidisciplinary and multicultural education I have received at both Sciences Po and Duke University have presented me with a wide range of thoughts, theories and ideas surrounding economics and finance. While writing several economic and political essays on the impacts of finance, I became deeply interested in the influence that finance has in our world and how I could guide that influence. Therefore, the MFE presented itself as the optimal path towards that possibility. In my career, I hope to utilize my learned knowledge as well as critical thinking and problem solving to answer modern-day questions. I wish to be challenged by difficult problems and find creative, technical and data-driven solutions to them.
