About Victor Perez

My personal philosophy of learning is that education remains the only tangible path towards success in this world. I would be nowhere near to the man I am today without the pursuit of education. As teachers, we must model the self-evident truth that education is a process that does not only take place within our walls and the confines of 12-18 years of institutions, but throughout our time here on Earth. We consistently hear and use the term “lifelong learners,” in the field of pedagogy. We are inundated with opportunities to continually challenge ourselves with learning. We hone our craft, we undergo professional development, and we seek out the experiences that will make us grow as educators and well-rounded human beings. We model the behavior that we wish to see in the students that we teach. In our profession, to remain steadfast in our ways is archaic and self-destructive. I am a life-long learner and I must constantly evolve or I will out-grow my usefulness and effectiveness in this ever-changing career.
