About Victor Renderos

Cybersecurity student at Saint Martin's University and a technology enthusiast with a deep-rooted passion for IT and cybersecurity. As a veteran with over 20 years of diverse experience, my background includes roles as an experienced program manager, systems engineer, former Special Operations Operator, and construction project engineer. I have honed my skills in leadership, technical subject matter expertise, strategic planning, and operations management. After my military service, I transitioned into a Project Engineer role with a local construction company, where I also served as their Functional Training Program Manager. However, my passion for technology has always been at the forefront of my career. My journey into the tech world started in college, where I built my own systems and undertook small consulting jobs, accumulating hundreds of hours tinkering with and optimizing systems. I enlisted in the Air Force as a meteorologist, but my aptitude for technology quickly became apparent. My superiors recognized my skills and enlisted my help in computer forensic analysis for investigations on two occasions. After completing my first 4-year contract, I secured a position at Intel Online Services as a Systems Engineer. The events of September 11 motivated me to return to service, this time as a Special Operations Operator. With a broad range of interests, outstanding communication skills, and a no-nonsense approach to problem-solving, I have become a valued contributor and leader in various organizations. My extensive experience in IT, combined with my leadership skills and strategic mindset, enables me to bring significant value to any organization. I am fortunate and grateful for the opportunities I've had to excel in different fields and look forward to leveraging my expertise to drive success in your organization.
