About Victor Riley

Designing for people requires knowing what their needs, expectations, and limitations are, and what technology solutions can work best for them. My background in architecture, systems engineering, psychology, human factors, graphic design, and product management gives me a wide set of tools with which to develop the best solutions for users. I've led small and large teams in research and development projects, run a small consulting company with a wide range of clients, and have forty publications and ten patents. I'm familiar with modern technology stacks including web, iOS, and Mac OS X, and am proficient in HTML5 and CSS3, with more limited experience in Javascript. I'm also familiar with agile development, and I think there's a sweet spot between initial requirements definition and continuous discovery. Favorite books include "Insanely Simple","Crossing the Chasm", and "The Innovator's Dilemma".
