About Victor Sethole

I am an experienced Business Relationship Manager with strong consulting acumen. I am skilled in Linked Investment Service Providers (LISP) and Asset Management. Currently, I am a Business Development Manager at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited. My role as a BDM is to look after IFA wealth advisers through forging new relationships and preserving our existing wealth manager partnerships. I execute this through the implementation of growth and retention business strategies, unpinned by marketing a superior value proposition which aims at growing and evolving the wealth partnerships we have, in an ever-changing market landscape. A key focus is to add value to wealth management firms through considered practise management tools and enablements. I have in-depth knowledge in Investments, Retirement Products and Retirement Planning with strong business development acumen. I have vast experience in partnership building and business retention of key account relationships. My previous role was with STANLIB and INN8, as a Business Development Manager. My responsibilities included providing wealth advisers we serve with access to solutions within the business whilst also concentrating on channeling an increase in key brokerage account support into STANLIB and INN8. Moreover, my role involves upskilling & training wealth advisers with a focus on national business trend analysis, asset management, business retention processes and proposition positioning. When not working, I keep myself busy with community work by participating in non-profit initiatives. I’m also quite an active individual who enjoys sports – such as rugby, soccer, and water-polo.
