About Victor Soon

An IT Professional working in the realm of IT networks, servers and cloud infrastructure in AWS. Completed multiple Microsoft and Cisco certified courses paired with industry experience reinforces my skillset in analysing, toubleshooting, provisioning and optimizing network and server infrastructure. With the shift in the industry to Working From Home, I am currently working on implementing a 'Remote First' initiative. This provides me with some experience with Network Architecture paired with PaloAlto Next Gen VM Firewall technologies in the AWS EC2 and VPC technologies such Transit Gateway routing. Remote first has also provided me with opportunities to learn and implement MDM technologies such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro.As things move towards the cloud, we find ourselves using less on-site server infrastructure, migrating and utilising managed services with various integration. Currently it's a very agile workspace with platforms becoming more transparent, making scripting and automation easier and more powerful at the same time.Previously I have worked on integrating IT systems to make company life better at PageUp, including projects in Unified Communication, Audio & Video Conferencing, Service Desk optimization, Ubiquiti WiFi networks and more!
