About Victor Torres

Victor is a results-oriented engineer with multi-industry and multicultural background. He has more than 10 years engineering experience, construction services, manufacturing, mechanical systems, structural, architectural disciplines and materials laboratory. He has spent more than 6 years working in an engineering capacity, evaluating project requirements, implementing quality control tools, planning, executing, and monitoring complex projects. His Heavy Civil, Aviation & Building’s related experience includes feasibility studies, site investigations, cost estimates, data analysis, design studies and construction sequence optimization for reclamation works. He is well versed in project reporting, utilizing earned value management and quality control principles. This vast experience has helped Victor to establish a solid record in Project Delivery, Business Development and Strategic Planning. Mr. Torres is a quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) professional providing services for major infrastructure projects, including high-profile efforts in the New York metropolitan area. He has expertise in providing QA reviews and audits for multidisciplinary design teams on complex projects, as well as preparing project quality plans and coordinating quality programs with contractors and clients. For the past seven years, Mr. Torres has played key roles on the teams at LaGuardia Airport providing QA/QC services for $8 billion Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) redevelopment program, working in both on- and off-site capacities. He recently joined the PMO team at JFK Terminal One to continue providing Quality Assurance service by establishing and implementing the Quality System through procedures and metrics improving Project’s organization.
