About Victoria Allen

I hate being stuck. I was stuck in a cycle of waiting for the tomorrow that never came. I was stuck thinking that my goals were too unobtainable. I was stuck in a negative mindset. I was stuck behind these massive obstacles that I had no idea were things that I had created for myself. So I started trying to climb. I attempted to climb the walls containing me, desperately grabbing for anything I could use to hoist myself up. What I didn't realize was that you can't scale a mental block you've created. It's smooth, without handhold or foothold so that you can stay safe within the parameters of your comfort zone. But the walls I built to keep me safe were slowly starting to suffocate me. They had turned into a prison. I didn't just want to escape, I NEEDED to escape. Knowing there was no way I could climb over the walls, I did the next best thing I could think of. I decided to go through them. I threw myself at those walls over and over again until there was a crack. Then just when I felt like it was all in vain, that crack turned into a small hole, just big enough to see out of. With renewed purpose, I continued to make that hole bigger and bigger until it was finally big enough to fit through. And I escaped. So here I am. My name is Victoria. I'm working towards my degree in Information Technology. My specialization is in Information Assurance and Cyber Security. I am a Technical Support Representative. I am hardworking, passionate, and determined. And I am an Escape Artist.
