About Victoria Bertotti

My creative foundation began with a BFA in Fine Art at The Cooper Union (‘82), I continued on to a MA.Ed (‘03) in multimedia and education from San Francisco State University. The field of education captivated me and I went on to further my love of learning and technology in a second master’s degree in Instructional Design & Technology - Ed.M (‘11) at Teachers College, Columbia University. I am presently an Ed.D Candidate focused on Cultural Studies & Cognitive Learning Science in Education. My focus includes broad integration of the learning sciences, creative processes and interaction design for situated learning environments. With emphasis on blended learning course design that integrates self-regulated, personalized learning approaches, my focus incorporates peer-to-peer collaboration and mobile learning strategies. I love working on projects that combine mobile / handheld technology. I am a seasoned entrepreneur, focused on innovating educational methods that involve design, development and delivery of technology centric products. I have 25 years + of experience working on a wide variety of creative projects that involve both new media as well as traditional print publishing platforms.
