About Victoria Chung

I dedicated my undergraduate and graduate education to the life sciences and stem cell biology with the intention of pursuing a career in intellectual property lawyer. As a researcher, I conducted research on blood cancers and immune diseases by investigating the proper culturing conditions of hematopoietic stem cells. We are currently in the midst of a modern day scientific revolution where genetic engineering and biotech companies are flourishing and working towards championing the human race, and I am determined to contribute to this cause. In any field I pursue, I want to be able to work hard enough to make a meaningful impact for the community. I want to be able to make a difference in the world in the ways that I am best able to. I loved the fulfilling work of research, and I recognize the true potential of the work at play and how it will change the state of medicine and science. Because I recognize this, I am confident that I will be able to better serve humanity and both the scientific and law communities as an intellectual property lawyer who can understand the full value of the intersection between law and science.
