About Victoria Daniel

I am currently a tenure-track faculty in the School of Administrative Studies as well as an associate of the Global Labour Research Centre at York University. In 2024, I had the honour of being an Early Career Fellow with the Work and Family Researchers Network. I received my PhD in Management with the Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management group at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. During my doctoral studies I was also awarded a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate scholarship and received a Human Resources Research Institute "Best Master's Thesis" award for my Master's research. Broadly, the aim of my research is to tackle questions that will incorporate additional nuance into our understanding of people’s vast experiences across the work-nonwork interface. As a mixed methods researcher, I specialize in both quantitative and qualitative approaches and have experience conducting surveys, experiments, interviews, and sourcing archival or publicly available data. My knowledge of various analytical approaches and statistical skills span advanced univariate and multivariate methods (regression), structural equation modelling, multilevel modelling, psychometrics and measurement, and latent profile analysis; qualitative analyses also include grounded theory methodologies and content analysis.
