About Victoria Lin

Following my passion in the international aspect, I am currently a graduate in TÜV SÜD, Global Marketing team. As a Global Product Marketer, I am the business partner for the Digital Service Industry in TÜV SÜD. I work very closely with the internal stakeholders to develop marketing strategies, main marketing assets and launch organic/paid campaigns. Working with other regions in which TÜV SÜD is situated as well, to initiate a localisation rollout plan in the focus regions/countries.I have completed my Bachelor of Science in International Business (Honors) at the University of Birmingham. During my university years, I was exposed to different cultures through my exchanges and internship, where I worked and adapted to other forms of work culture. I feel this is very important especially for firms today where we need to be adaptable, stay relevant, and change our ways to fit the current situation. In my 3 years at Temasek Polytechnic, pursuing my Diploma in Business, I specialised in International Business and Entrepreneurship. I had then acquired the relevant knowledge of Business. Such modules include Marketing, Business Accounting, Business Finance, Business Statistics, Economics, Organisational Behaviour, Computer Systems & Applications, Managing Business System. I enjoy interacting and working with people, building up and forging a close knit community wherever I go. Being the Head of Events in Business Interest Group, I’ve learnt that being in a place of influence and leadership is of great responsibility, and have grown in strength, courage, and resilience through these experiences. Organising events has always been a passion of mine. In my secondary school, I was actively involved, having been in the committee for serval school events. My leadership roles as a vice house captain in 2014 and a peer support leader has taught me to put others before self. Also, I have always enjoyed giving back to the community, through Local and Overseas Community Involvement Programmes. I've been to old folks home, Cambodia and Thailand to volunteer. Seeing the smile on the face is more than sufficient, knowing that I have impacted their life in a way or another."Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift"
