I have worked as a pharmacy technician for close to 10 years, and than worked in a surgical oncologist office running the satellite office including but not limited to: front end duties such answering all calls and checking all voicemail and handle messages and patients' needs in a timely fashion, scheduling appointments, checking patients ins and collecting co-pays, pre-certing all radiological needs for the patients, calling in prescriptions when appropriate, scheduling all surgeries in 2.different facilities and educating patients as to whether medical clearance.was needed as well as inform patients of bowel preps and of any other special instructions as needed. I also take great care to make patients feel welcome and like family. Having gone through surgery myself I am very.empathetic to the stress and fear patients and their families.go.through.and offer a kind and understanding atmosphere. I treat patients need as if they were my.family and take good care.with a smile on my face.
