About Vidhya Kamdar

Portfolio: As a Creative Director, I craft captivating visual narratives by reinterpreting my experience of beautiful moments in daily life. My designs encapsulate a harmony between form and function with an element of artistry that spring a brand to life with compelling storytelling, vivid imagery and tasteful product design. I have eight years of experience overseeing creative direction for NYC-based fashion brands. My expertise in product development, campaign concepting, marketing and art direction have led me to manage the entire creative lifecycle of collections featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, and the New York Times. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees through a five year, dual-degree program at The New School and Parsons School of Design. My BFA in Fashion Design and BA in Mathematics have given me the unique ability to combine mathematical thinking with creative design. Organizational excellence, discriminating tastes, and a data-driven mindset are my keys to unlocking the quintessential essence of a brand. This paired with my passion for learning and a desire for self-improvement allow me to constantly evolve to suit the needs of any brand’s identity.
