About Vidisha Garg

As a partner at ANAND AND ANAND, a leading intellectual property law firm in India, I have more than twenty years of experience in handling complex and high-stakes patent matters in various domains, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, petroleum, oil and energy. I have successfully represented and advised numerous clients in contentious proceedings involving important drug molecules, such as Lapatinib, Valganciclovir, Tygacil, Dolutegravir, and Lorcaserin.My core competencies include patent prosecution, opposition, litigation, and strategy, as well as providing guidance on issues relating to biodiversity and traditional knowledge. I have a strong academic and research background in chemistry, having completed my B.Sc. and LLM degrees in the field. I also have a LLB degree and I am a member of the EPO’s Standing Advisory Committee and the member of the Executive Committee of the AIPPI India group. My aspire to help my clients protect and leverage their intellectual property rights and achieve their business goals.
