About Vidya Reddy

Ok. Writing from my heart - I have had an incredible work journey at Demerara shipping company Limited, finishing high school and started my professional career at the age of 17. I have spend 14 years at Demerara shipping in almost all of the department (cashier, accounting and finance, operations, sales, MSC export clerk, MSC import clerk, MSC equipment control clerk, sales supervisor, MSC supervisor, MSC commercial representative). I have learnt and grown a lot at Demerara shipping and will forever be grateful to the company for believing in me and giving countless opportunities. As I started my new role with MSC Guyana now opening its office in Guyana, I am beyond excited to apply all my working skills and ethics in growing the company and myself as an individual. MSC is an amazing company and I feel proud to be working with the world’s largest carrier! For my entire working career I have learnt to always remain humble, always doing the right thing, always being ethical and work towards the growth of the company. We are not on this earth forever and when I get older and look back at my career I will feel proud knowing I always put my best out there and did not short cut anyone. It’s always about finding what you like as if you do not like your job you will just be a miserable soul! Demship has thought me alot about shipping and I love being in the shipping and logistics sector.
