About Vignesh Ramanathan

I am an MS candidate focusing on Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. I am a firm believer in accessible, affordable, and proactive healthcare. My main areas of focus are R&D, product design, and development. I have served as a Biomedical Engineering Intern for over a year at Pareto Care, where I collaborated with my colleagues to create a device that could detect deterioration in the condition of heart failure patients in the early stages and prevent readmissions in hospitals, thus reducing the cost of care. Dependable and hardworking, I can pick up new skills and methods of working with ease while applying previously learn skills efficiently. I aspire to contribute to the R&D of medical devices/products that can reduce the cost of care and transform the healthcare system from a reactive model to a proactive one.
