Background

About Vignesh Venkatesan

In my current role as Chief of Staff and Head of Operations at CARIAD, I established the Software-Defined Vehicle Hub in the VW Group, fostering collaboration between German OEMs and U.S-based teams, as well as CARIAD, VW and Audi. This included coordinating product roadmaps, managing partner relationships, establishing engineering timelines and mitigating risks to deliver scalable solutions across markets. previously, at Volkswagen’s Brand's Board Offices for New Mobility and Technical Development, I enabled executive decision-making on next-generation EV platforms, software integration, and market expansion. I played a key role in aligning technical development strategies across global teams, ensuring product readiness and operational excellence. Prior to that, worked as an innovation influencer in the early phase: from strategy to concept development to integrating innovation in the mobility of tomorrow with a strong technical aspect, both at the overall vehicle level and E/E architecture focus.
