About Vijay Chawan
My interest are General Relativity, Black Hole Astrophysics and Gravitational Waves. I am from Physics and Astronomy Department, at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. I am currently working on Rotating Bardeen Black Holes. I am studying the properties of this Regular Black Hole and aim to put constrains on some of it's parameters. I was an IAS-summer research fellow(2019), I worked on modelling of gravitational wave sources, with Dr Chandra Kant Mishra; professor at IIT M. Later in that year, I joined tifr as a project student and showed interest to work on Exoplanet research, with Dr Bhaswati Mukherjee, Chairperson of the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. It was fun learning and working at tifr, it is one of the best places to be at. I did a semester-long astronomy course at Wilson College when I was a freshman. That developed some of Astronomy & Astrophysics Research.
