About Vijay Kulkarni

I have worked in the construction industry for over 22 years so far and have always been determined to succeed at work and grow as a professional. I started my designing career at Design Excellence (India) Pvt. Ltd, creating architectural, civil and structural working drawings using AutoCAD and Hicad software by an engineering consulting company. Thereafter, I worked with other developers and architectural firms to develop drawings as per guidelines of MIDC and Municipal Corporations, and parallely worked in the capacity of site supervisor and liaison officer. Presently working at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd, This esteem organization allowed me to expand my work portfolio to diverse real estate and infrastructure projects. This included IT and BPO, mixed-use development, roads, ropeways, etc. I have always been curious about the latest innovations in the field. Rapidly emerging technologies like BIM Revit are quite effective in the field of engineering. Considering that the concept of common 3D BIM models integrates MEP (Engineering), Civil, Structural etc. into overall design, I have acquired the skills to develop LOD BIM models at different levels of architecture.
